Vltava River
The Vltava River surrounds Holešovice and is an integral part of life in this district. On one side, it separates Holešovice from the historic city center of Prague with the Captain Jaroš Embankment, while on the Karlín side, the HolKa footbridge connects both districts. Near Stromovka, the Vltava separates Holešovice from Prague’s Troja, home to various rowing clubs. At the docks near the Libeň Bridge, you can park your boat and set off on a trip, enjoying unique views of Prague’s skyline from the water.
